A CHOP is a split or cut of an audio sample, either a whole song or a part of it. Applying these divisions to a vocal track allows us to create new instruments and new applications for the use of this vocal.

In this video we create the classic distorted sound that is used in vocal chops and is used in most of today’s music. With a simple rack and modifying some parameters we will be able to apply them in any vocal source and generate textures in the style of Skrillex, Virtual Riot and used in Dubstep, Future Bass or Hip Hop tracks.
